Waking up with a gun in your face would not be the way I would choose to start my day. Nor would I choose to find out, from the man on the other end of the gun, that my husband wasn’t who he said he was. I also wouldn’t want to be running for my life while trying to figure out who this guy I said, “I do” with really is.

This is what Summer Abernathy is up against from the opening pages of No One to Trust. She takes off on an adventure that no one would sign up for, but then she didn’t have much choice. She discovers that her husband has something that the mafia is after and will stop at nothing to get back. But Summer has faced some challenges in the past that make trusting in the present difficult for her. She told Kyle right up front that lying wasn’t something that she could forgive. Kyle, or David, has a lot of lies to make up for but two things are sure. He knows the power of forgiveness and he loves his wife. While the mafia will stop at nothing to kill him and gain back what he took, David will stop at nothing to gain back the trust that he longs to have from Summer. Unfortunately, he may have to die trying.

Fast paced action, suspense and learning how to forgive are the hallmarks of this novel by author, Lynette Eason.

My daughter and I both had a hard time putting it down and wouldn’t recommend reading it if you’re trying to fall asleep!
