When you give a woman a weekend,
She may want to take a few friends with her.
And if she takes a few friends with her she will most likely need to start a new Facebook group.
And if there are many women in a Facebook group silliness might break out.
When the silliness breaks out, stickers will need to be employed.
Not everyone will know about the wonder of stickers so they will need to learn.
And once the friends have learned the stickers the Facebook group will be a crazy place of fun.
That fun will translate into gut busting laughter and conversation all the way to the retreat place.
At the retreat place the women will keep on laughing and talking about all kinds of things.
They will hear pieces of each other’s stories and troubles and passions.
Some people will say the wrong thing causing them to turn red while everyone else wets their pants laughing!
Since the pants are already wet, the women will talk about women things.
Things like menopause and baby birthing, morning sickness and projectile water breaking.
Some women will probably need to go for a walk so that they can explore and drink in the wonder of creation out on the farm.
Some women will stay inside working on projects that fill their soul.
Some of those projects will work and some will cause frustration.
The women will help one another, listen to problems and help with solutions.
While they talk and listen and create and drink copious amounts of tea, a little bit of coffee and eat lots of snacks and other good food.
The uncooks will cook and it will be yummy!
When you give a woman a weekend there will be plenty of snoring and laughing and talking and listening and loving and creating.
Crazy grace will abound and she will want to do it again.
Hebrews 13:2 “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers (they may have been strange, but they weren’t strangers!), for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels (they were angels) without knowing it.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
