The snowfall was perfect. Gentle, large flakes. Perfect Christmas card kind of morning.
Except that it is March 26!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was not appreciating the snow this morning.
I want Spring already!
However, this afternoon after I dropped the girls at their dance class I went for a little walk. On my way I looked at all the mud and yuck and tried not to soak my inappropriate footwear completely. On the way back to the studio I finally looked up.
Twilight was just setting in and those big, gentle flakes were still falling.
“Aren’t they pretty?”
Yes, yes I had to admit they are truly beautiful. Even though they are coming out of the sky at the end of March the snow was absolutely perfect.
It is lending more moisture to our soil for our crops to use in spring.
It is covering up the mud and dirty snow that has already been uncovered through the melting process.
I can be thankful for the ugly-beautiful.
He made it. And it is good.
I love Him and He sent this gift of a perfect snowfall, so I said, “Thank you.”
